My Why
From the age of three, sports have played a key role in my life. I have learned that I enjoy exploring the multiple disciplines in sports. I like to research and write about the business side, ethics, and the broader social and cultural impacts of the sporting world. Because I am fascinated with everything sports, I aim to use storytelling to highlight the voices, issues, and moments in sports that shape culture and inspire communities.
During my time at DePaul University, as a sports communication and sports journalism major and an athlete myself, I have worked on telling stories that elevate underrepresented perspectives, and I have tried to deepen public understanding of the sports world.
I’m a leader. Even at a young age, I was always leading the way, stepping up when others hesitated and finding confidence in guiding people toward a shared goal.
